The guidelines I use when rating a book are outlined below:

  5/5 Mice

I LOVED this book! 

It was well written and full of emotion. Couldn't get it out of my head.

It is one I would not mind reading again!

4/5 Mice

I REALLY liked this book!

It was well written and entertaining. 

I might read this again when I have time!

3/5 Mice

This book was GOOD.

Kept me reading but lacked the "WOW" feeling.

I probably would not choose to read it again.

NOTE: I do not post reviews for books I know will receive less than a 3 mouse rating. Most of the time, I will choose to not review them at all. (As mentioned in my Review Policy).

My blog is designed to showcase and help support the amazing authors that are out there. Posting bad reviews is not the way to do that. If the situation arises where I accept a book for review, but know I will do them more harm than good in posting my review, I will contact them immediately. There is a difference between petty bashing and constructive criticism. I always try my best to point out the weak points of an authors work CONSTRUCTIVELY. Most of the time they are happy I did so.

Point being, the purpose of the Little Hyuts blog is to share with everyone the great reads I come across. This way other bloggers and readers have the chance to add these books to their TBR piles and connect with some really great authors!
