~ Disclosure ~

All books reviewed on this blog are obtained from the publisher or author in exchange for an honest review.

I accept no monetary compensation for the review of these books. 

My reviews are my honest opinions and in no way falsified at the request of others. 

Note: If I have chosen to read and review a book, it is because I have taken an interest in that book. I rarely give out less than a three star rating. This is due to the fact that I will not post a review for a book I was not able to finish or did not like. For the most part, I do not read and review a book that does not spark my interest.

~ Purpose ~

The purpose of my blog is to provide other readers with honest reviews in hopes they will find their next great read! It is also to help promote authors--traditionally and independently published--and their books. Through my reviews, author interviews and features, I hope to be able to spread the word and help share their wonderful, hard work with others. Indie gems are everywhere, all you need to do is look!

~ Review Policy ~

Here are my conditions when accepting a book for review:

- I can no longer accept self published titles for review. (So sorry!) Authors published through small-press publishing houses are most welcome!
- The book should be, but is not required to be, a YOUNG ADULT novel. My blog is predominately for YA reviews.

- If a review is requested for an adult book, I will accept to read it ONLY if it is one I have interest in. However, the author does so under the knowledge that my follower base is geared toward YA readers. *It is a plus if the book is Adult/YA crossover*

- I WILL NOT accept any type of erotica or books with explicit content. Please make sure your book fits into the 'Will Read...' category listed above.
- I prefer to not read a series out of order. If the review being requested is not for the first in a series, then I will request the other books as well. The series will then be reviewed as a whole.

- I reserve the right to decline any book.

- If I have agreed to review a book and I end up not liking it, or feel that it would receive less than a three star rating, the author will be contacted immediately, so we can decide how to proceed.

- All Little Hyuts reviews are also posted on Goodreads. At the request of the author I will place my review on additional sites. Reviews are also cross-promoted on Twitter and Google+.

- What needs to be included in your request is listed at the bottom of this page under 'Review Requests.'

- I can not accept all requests made to me. I hope that you understand.

Note:  I can not guarantee a response to every request made, nor can I guarantee a specific date the review will be available. Any request that does not include the information listed at the bottom of this page or does not fit into the categories of books I review, will not be viewed. If you do not receive a response, please do not send a follow up email or re-send your initial request. 

~ Author Interviews/Book Tours/Features/Giveaways ~

- I will gladly include an author Q&A or guest post with my review! 

- If requested I will post a Cover Reveal or Title Feature prior to my actual review. This is especially good when the book is scheduled to be released soon.

- I would love to participate in any upcoming Book Blog Tours if time allows.

- If an author is willing to include copies of their book or provide materials for a giveaway, I will be more than happy to set it up. However, I will not be responsible for low responses. Authors must be willing to promote the giveaway using their social media as well. 

- On average I run giveaways for 7-14 days. Authors may request a longer time frame.

- I will cross promote all interviews, giveaways and other book related posts on my networking sites. If an author does not wish for me to do this, they may specify where they would like additional promotion.

~ Review Requests ~

When requesting a review I will need (at minimum) the following:

1. Your name and email address
2. A synopsis and general info regarding your book (Genre, length, release date)
3. If you would like to include a Q&A or guest post in addition to the review 
4. Link to purchase the book (if available) and links to your social media

All posts and reviews may not be re-posted or duplicated without my permission. However, this does not include the author or publisher. They retain full rights to the usage of the post as long as they include a link to the original.
