The human race is all but extinct after a war with Partials—engineered organic beings identical to humans—has decimated the population. ~ My Review ~

Dan Wells is a powerhouse. This book/series is intricate and fascinating. Talk about a good dystopian world. This one is spot on. There is so much contained in the pages of Partials, that I had a hard time slimming down the synopsis to explain it when someone asked. That being said, I was able to guess the "big surprise" much too early, which is why I have given four stars instead of five. 

That should definitely not deter anyone from picking up this book though! Admittedly, I have an over thinking brain and do not usually find any literature to be surprising. I did however, LOVE this story and characters. For it's genre, Partials is fresh and you will be swept up in this world. Dan Wells has done an excellent job of bringing a slightly darker and more realistic element to a dystopian society. Kudos to an "epic" author, on to the next book!
