Little Hyuts Halloween Edition: Halloweeny Reads

Happy Halloween Reading Everyone!

I'm staying in tonight, handing out candy and being bookish.  

This month has been hectic and I am a bit behind on my reading schedule. 

So, I have two Halloweeny reads that need finishing!

Both are by amazing YA authors, and both are their first steps into the 'adult' world.

The dead, the living. Both are haunted... Rooms By Lauren Oliver

I also received an ARC of Wildalones By Krassi Zourkova in the mail yesterday. And if all goes well, I will be starting it tonight! It is a mythology based story, with magic, suspense and witches--also known as wildalones.

Arriving at Princeton for her freshman year, Thea Slavin finds herself alone, a stranger in a strange land. Away from her family and her Eastern European homeland for the first time, she struggles to adapt to unfamiliar American ways and the challenges of college life—including an enigmatic young man whose brooding good looks and murky past intrigue her. Mesmerizing and addictive, Wildalone is a thrilling blend of the modern and the fantastic. Krassi Zourkova creates an atmospheric world filled with rich characters as compelling as those of Diana Gabaldon, Deborah Harkness, and Stephenie Meyer.

And...just because I'm feeling dorky... I wanted to sneak in a throwback! This is one of my favorite witchy reads and movies, EVER.

Practical Magic By Alice Hoffman
